1. Agreement to these terms
By downloading, installing, accessing or using Daily Muslim Pro, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the app or website.
2. Free personal-use access
The current Daily Muslim Pro mobile app is provided free of charge. There is no subscription, premium tier or paid licence required to use the current app features.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable right to use the app for lawful personal purposes, subject to these terms and the applicable app-store rules.
3. Appropriate use
You must not:
- Use the app or website unlawfully, fraudulently or maliciously.
- Attempt to compromise security, availability or integrity.
- Reverse engineer, redistribute or commercially exploit protected app code except where law expressly permits.
- Misrepresent Daily Muslim Pro as an official religious, governmental, charitable or travel authority.
- Use website listings to deceive, impersonate or harm users or businesses.
4. Religious information
Prayer times, Qibla direction, Quran tools, fasting information, duas, Zakat tools, educational materials and other religious features are provided as practical aids. Local mosque practice, calculation methods and recognised scholarly opinions may differ.
The app and website do not replace guidance from a qualified scholar, mosque, religious authority or other appropriate professional.
5. Prayer times, Qibla and notifications
Imported data, calculated times, clocks, timezones, location choices, compass sensors and operating-system notifications can be inaccurate, delayed or unavailable. Verify important prayer and fasting times with a trusted mosque or local authority.
Alarms and notifications are convenience features and are not guaranteed to trigger at a particular time.
6. Quran and third-party content
Quran text, translations, Tajweed datasets, audio, hadith material and other content may be supplied under separate source licences or terms. Daily Muslim Pro does not claim ownership of public-domain or third-party material merely because it is displayed through the app.
Users should report suspected textual or attribution errors so they can be investigated.
7. Zakat and financial information
Zakat calculators, records and examples are organisational and educational tools. They are not financial, accounting, tax, legal or religious advice. Personal assets, liabilities, valuation methods, nisab standards and scholarly views may affect the correct result.
8. Hajj and Umrah listings
The Hajj and Umrah page may display demonstration cards and, in the future, clearly identified sponsored listings from independent travel companies. Daily Muslim Pro does not currently sell travel packages, act as a travel agent, arrange visas, take bookings or receive customer travel payments.
A listing or advertisement is not a guarantee or endorsement. Users must verify the provider, regulatory protection, package details, cancellation rights, visa requirements, health requirements and all contractual terms directly with the company.
9. Charity information
Daily Muslim Pro does not currently collect or distribute charitable donations. External charity links are governed by the organisation's own terms and privacy policy. Users should independently verify the organisation, registration status, campaign and Zakat eligibility.
10. Sponsored and external content
The website may contain clearly marked advertisements, sponsored listings or links to external businesses. Daily Muslim Pro may receive advertising fees from those businesses. Unless expressly stated, Daily Muslim Pro is not a party to any enquiry, booking, payment or contract between the user and the external provider.
11. Local data and backups
The current app stores core records locally. You are responsible for protecting your device and using any available export or backup features. Daily Muslim Pro cannot guarantee recovery of local records after deletion, corruption, device loss, storage clearing or operating-system changes.
12. Availability and changes
Features, content and website pages may be updated, corrected, suspended or removed. Compatibility with every device, operating system or hardware sensor is not guaranteed.
13. Intellectual property
The Daily Muslim Pro name, logo, original interface, original text, software and website design are protected by applicable intellectual property law. Third-party content remains subject to its own rights, notices and licences.
14. Disclaimer
To the extent permitted by law, the app and website are provided on an “as available” basis. No promise is made that every feature, time, calculation, sensor result, notification, link or external listing will be error-free, complete or continuously available.
15. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that qualification, Daily Muslim Pro is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss arising from reliance on calculations, missed notifications, device failure, local data loss, external services, travel providers, charities or sponsored listings.
16. Changes to these terms
These terms may be revised when the app, website, business model or applicable requirements change. Continued use after revised terms are published may constitute acceptance where permitted by law.
