The current version does not require you to register a Daily Muslim Pro online account.
Personal worship records and app preferences are designed to be stored in the app database on your device.
We do not sell the personal information you deliberately provide to us.
The current app is not designed to build a profile for targeted advertising.
This Privacy Policy applies to the Daily Muslim Pro mobile application, the website at www.dailymuslimpro.com, and direct communications sent to the Daily Muslim Pro support addresses.
2. Who operates Daily Muslim Pro
Daily Muslim Pro is responsible for the operation of this website and the current mobile application. Privacy enquiries may be sent to privacy@dailymuslimpro.com.
Before final app-store publication, the developer or business name displayed on this page should match the legal or trading identity used in the Google Play and Apple App Store listings.
3. Information stored locally by the app
Depending on the features you choose to use, the app may store the following information locally on your device:
- Selected language, country, city and timezone settings.
- Mosque details and imported or calculated prayer timetables.
- Prayer, fasting, Dhikr, dua, Zakat, event, task and tracker records.
- Quran display preferences, translations, bookmarks and reading position.
- Alarm, notification, sound and visual-display preferences.
- Files you deliberately import into the app or export from it.
These records are designed to remain in the app's local database. The current app does not require them to be uploaded to a Daily Muslim Pro user-account service.
Because this local database is not normally held by Daily Muslim Pro, we cannot remotely view, restore or delete it. Local data can be affected by uninstalling the app, clearing app storage, changing device, restoring a device backup or operating-system behaviour.
4. Device permissions and capabilities
The app may request access to device capabilities when needed for a feature you choose to use:
- Notifications: to display prayer, alarm, event or reminder notifications configured by you.
- Compass and motion sensors: to support Qibla direction on devices with compatible hardware.
- Files and document selection: when you choose to import, save, share or export supported files.
- Audio playback: to play an alarm or audio file that you selected.
- Internet access: when opening external websites, email links, maps, videos, app-store pages or online content that you deliberately request.
Permission availability and wording differ between Android and iOS. You can manage permissions through the app where supported and through your device settings.
5. External websites and third-party services
Daily Muslim Pro may contain links that open a browser, email application, map service, video provider, app store or another third-party service. The Hajj and Umrah and Charity sections may also link to independent organisations.
When you choose to open an external service, that service may receive ordinary technical information such as your IP address, browser or device details, referring page, date and time. Its own privacy policy governs its processing.
Opening an external link does not give that provider access to your local Daily Muslim Pro worship records unless you deliberately type, upload or share information with the provider yourself.
6. Information handled by this website
This website does not require user registration. It is not currently configured to use behavioural advertising trackers or user-profile analytics.
As with most hosted websites, the hosting provider may process limited server-log information, which can include IP address, requested page, browser type, operating system, date, time and security events. Such logs may be used for hosting operation, cybersecurity, abuse prevention and fault diagnosis.
If you contact Daily Muslim Pro by email, we receive the email address, message content and any attachment you choose to send. This information is used to respond, provide support, keep reasonable business records, investigate abuse and comply with applicable law.
7. Payments and advertising
The current Daily Muslim Pro mobile app is free and does not require payment to unlock its features. The app does not currently sell a Daily Muslim Pro licence or subscription.
The website may in future display clearly labelled sponsored listings or advertisements from independent organisations, such as Hajj and Umrah travel companies. Payments made by those businesses for advertising are business-to-business arrangements and do not provide app users with digital feature unlocks.
If a user follows a link to an independent company, any enquiry, booking or payment is handled by that company under its own terms and privacy policy unless the website expressly states otherwise.
8. Retention and deletion
Local app records remain on the device until you delete them using an available app control, clear app storage, uninstall the app or the operating system removes or restores them.
Email correspondence and limited business records may be retained only as long as reasonably needed for support, legal, accounting, security or dispute-resolution purposes.
The current app does not provide online account creation. Therefore, there is no Daily Muslim Pro cloud account requiring an account deletion request.
9. Security
Reasonable measures are taken to protect the website and information deliberately provided to us. No system can guarantee absolute security. Local app information is also dependent on your device security, screen lock, operating system, backups and installed software.
10. Children
Daily Muslim Pro is a general Islamic utility and does not knowingly require children to create online accounts or submit personal profiles to us. Parents and guardians should supervise children's use of device permissions, external links and communications.
11. Your choices and rights
You may:
- Decline or withdraw optional device permissions.
- Choose whether to open an external website or service.
- Edit or delete supported records using app controls.
- Clear app storage or uninstall the app to remove local app data.
- Ask about information you deliberately sent to us by emailing privacy@dailymuslimpro.com.
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights relating to personal information held by us, including access, correction, deletion, restriction or objection. These rights do not give us access to local app data that we do not possess.
12. International processing
Website hosting, email providers and other service providers may process limited technical or communication information in countries other than your own. Their safeguards and legal obligations apply to that processing.
13. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when the app, website, legal requirements or third-party integrations change. The effective date above will be updated when a revised policy is published.
